Аккредитив с красной оговоркой используется для того, чтобы продавец мог получить деньги еще до отгрузки товара, чтобы профинансировать производство товара. Такой аккредитив может быть профинансирован частично или полностью, и банк покупателя производит выплату аванса. Покупатель в этом случае фактически финансирует продавца/экспортера, принимая на себя риск в размере всех авансированных аккредитивов
